In the first half (October 1, 2006 - March 31, 2007) of its 2006/2007 fiscal year (October 1, 2006 – September 30, 2007), edel AG continued its efforts to extend its target markets with new product groups from all areas of the entertainment market. CEO Michael Haentjes reports that the company has additionally entered the book segment with the successful acquisition of publishing company Moewig-Verlag, adding that edel will be continuing Moewig’s established range and addressing new segments and adding new products for the book market. Further investments are planned.
