American Hard Rockers Dark New Day formed in 2004 with aline up consisting of Will Hunt (Evanescence), Clint Lowery(Sevendust), Brett Hestla (Virgos Merlot), Troy McLawhorn(Evanescence), and Corey Lowery (Stereomud, Eye Empire).
They were quickly snatched up by Warner Bros. Recordsand released their debut album “Twelve Year Silence” in2005.
Charting in the US in the Billboard Top 200 and having the single"Brother" reach number 7 on active rock charts, the album went onto be extremely successful and build their ever growing fan base. The band continued with a rigorous touring schedule supportingsuch acts as Chevelle, Seether, and Crossfade. In 2006 the bandwent in the studio to record what was to be the follow up albumentitled “Hail Mary”. It was at this point that Dark New Day wenton a hiatus, with the members either returning to their previousbands or venturing out into new projects and the album wasnever released. The fire for new Dark New Day material continued to burn inboth the band members and the diehard fan base alike. The bandcame together in 2011 and released the album “New Tradition”and found that their fans were still behind them. Now Pavement Entertainmemt brings you the “lost” album,“Hail Mary” which will finally be released to the bands strong legionof fans on February 18th2013.
