After the release of “Tales From The Beach” in May 2008 and the remix album “More Tales Remixed” (November 2009) Incognito are now celebrating their 30th anniversary with their fantastic new studio album “Transatlantic R.P.M.”.
The album convinces with 16 stunning tracks - each of them featuring special guests:
soul legend Chaka Khan on “Lowdown” and “The Song”, Italian superstar Mario Biondi (who sold 500.000 in Italy only and had 2 number 1 albums in a row ) on “Lowdown” and “Can’t Get Enough”, the legendary Leon Ware, Al McKay of Earth Wind & Fire, John-Christian Urich of Tortured Soul, the American singer/songwriter Ursula Rucker, Los Angeles rapper Luckyiam and not to forget the features of the regular Incognito vocalists Maysa, Joy Rose, Tony Momrelle and Vanessa Haynes plus as special highlight: a rare lead vocal performance by Bluey, who closes the album with “Tell Me What To Do”.
It seems to be hard to top the success of the latest album “Tales From The Beach” which has been unanimously considered by critics and fans as one of the band’s best
studio albums ever. With “Transatlantic R.P.M.” including 16 groovy, uplifting and refreshing songs, each crafted with driving rhythms and sensual voices, it should be a snap though to obtain the level of success and to convince the very last critics of Incognito’s talent and importance to the music scene. “Transatlantic R.P.M.” is with no doubt a new masterpiece showing Bluey, his band and the guest vocalists at their best.
